This week has been one where a series of events have led to the development of some great outcomes; collaboration and partnership arrangements.
It also led me to contemplate a bit more on the topic of ‘how to connect to your true self’. I even stumbled upon and listened again to the audio version of ‘The Power of Intention’ by Wayne Dyer, one of my favourite authors.
The True You
Sometimes, all we need is to take a step aside and connect more deeply with the true self.
The true self is perfect in our own way and it is complete in terms of whatever we need to be in our happiest state.
Listen this live video I did on my way to one of my client meetings. Increasingly, I’m also finding the importance of acting on and taking inspired action; regardless of where you happen to be. We find ourselves in the car today!
Any feelings or thoughts about lack both in life and business are a sure sign that we’re disconnecting from the true self.
Today, let’s take 5 mins to connect back to your true self.
- Take a simple few breaths
- Imagining you are now surrounded by everything you need to bring you in your desired or happiest state
- You can even make a list while you’re at it
Finally each time you feel what you need is a bit out of reach, it’s time to explore how to connect to your true self!
“Contemplate yourself as surrounded by the conditions which you wish to produce” – Wayne Dyer:
If you happen to be a bit more left-brained, there’s an equivalent of this in physics. The law of flotation states:
“A floating object displaces its own weight of the fluid in which it floats” . (Archimedes principle)
In simple terms , as we surround ourselves with what we want, what we don’t want disappears.
Ladies and gentlemen, that is how we connect to the true source of infinite intelligence and abundance within us and in the collective.
